Hi, I’m October – a lifelong animal lover, passionate photographer, and trainee Clinical Canine Behaviourist & Trainer. I live in the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside with my husband and our dog, Teebo.
For the past 20 years, I’ve had the absolute joy of working as a professional photographer, capturing timeless memories for wedding couples across the world. Photography has always been more than a job for me – it’s a way of preserving emotion, connection, and the fleeting beauty of a moment.
Alongside my photography career, animals have always held a special place in my heart. Over the years, I’ve shared my life with horses, cats, dogs, and even a Giant African Land Snail named Ooey Gooey! Early this year, I made the exciting decision to turn my love for dogs into a new path by training as a Clinical Canine Behaviourist & Trainer. I’m currently studying and looking forward to qualifying next year.
In the meantime, I’ve launched a Pet Photography business that brings together my two greatest passions – animals and photography. Whether it’s a fun outdoor session or a timeless studio portrait, I’m here to capture your pet’s unique personality and the bond you share. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or not-so-furry!) friends.

We offer 3 unique pet photography sessions: studio, outdoor, and a combination of both. Capture your furry friend's best moments with us!
Studio Sessions - £150
Our pet photography studio sessions are a fun and relaxed one-hour experience, designed to capture your pet’s unique personality in beautiful, timeless images. Each session includes five professionally edited fine art digital images, perfect for printing or sharing. Priced at £150, it’s the ideal way to create lasting memories of your furry friend in a comfortable, studio setting.
Outdoor Sessions - £350
Our outdoor pet photography sessions take place at a location of your choice within 50 miles of PE13, offering a natural and relaxed setting to beautifully capture your pet’s personality. Each session includes 10 high-resolution, fine art edited digital images, perfect for display or sharing. The session is priced at £350, with travel expenses applying beyond the 50-mile radius.
Combined Sessions - £550
Our combined pet photography sessions offer the best of both worlds, with 45 minutes in the studio and 20 minutes outdoors—both located in PE13. This unique experience captures a variety of stunning portraits. The package includes 15 high-resolution, fine art edited digital images, a beautifully presented box of fifteen 7x5" prints, and a striking 16x20" framed print, all for £550.

We had such an amazing pet photoshoot with October Whiteman Pet Photography. We used October and James for our wedding photography and were amazed at the pictures, as soon as October began pet photography we knew exactly who to use!
From the start, October was incredibly professional, not only as a photographer but also with Bella (our dog). Bella was given time to check out the studio, take in all the smells, sounds and flashes (from the lighting). The studio is perfect for animals, secure, cool and cute little touches of water, treats and toys! October’s clear direction and expertise in working with animals made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
During the shoot Bella was able to just be herself. The photos included Bella in a sit and a down position, your dog doesn’t need perfect obedience to have photos! October was very patient with Bella and allowed her to have a play or a cuddle (many kisses!) between photos! We were also able to get photos as a family.
From previous photography interactions, we knew the pictures would be amazing, but somehow, the final images exceeded out expectations. The quality was outstanding, and the images beautifully captured Bella’s cheekiness as well as the bond between Bella and ourselves. We highly recommend this October Whiteman Pet Photography to anyone looking for a memorable and stress free photoshoot experience with their pets.
